The absence of clarification didn't go unnoticed. Reggie might not normally have been quite so observantly cognizant of such a thing, but given how much on this subject people already seemed quite eager to volunteer, how much it kept getting brought up when all Reggie wanted was the peace of ignoring it, it was impossible not to notice the subtle change in subject.

And he was grateful for it, although he wouldn't say so. There was no reason at all Reggie felt like he had to deal with the reality of that type of existential dilemma now, or maybe not even ever. It was for that reason Reggie didn't press -- not yet -- for details on how the two of them apparently knew each other.

"Uh, yeah," Reggie said, seeming to bounce back entirely-- his eyebrows raising, a crooked, cocky smile shaping the angle of his mouth. "How could I ever not love money?"

Granted, there were some pros to the other job for him as well, but money was important; naturally, Reggie was nearly broke now since arriving here.

"What do I have to do for it?" He asked after a moment of thought, realizing that was probably a reasonable question. Some things he'd be okay with, but considering this was also a hospital, even he might have to draw the line somewhere. "Cuz I'm not going near any dead bodies."
