He tilted his head, offering a sideways nod as he heard her condemnation. Her emotional reaction was of interest -- she demonstrated investment. Something about White's case study had captivated her, kept her agitated at the outcome. At the saga itself.

Chilton glanced over the book cover, the obscured name.

"You detect something of a performance in his methodology? As if he wanted it the hard way. Perhaps thought that he deserved only the hard way?"

Entertaining speculation -- not something that Chilton usually indulged his patient, but he saw opportunity to witness her through Walter White. Chilton had always intended the White case study to be reflective of a truth in humanity, and the mirror sat upon her lap.

"Sometimes the most dangerous behaviors can come from internalized guilt."
