It hadn't been Cassian's intent to do anything but eat, but the secret lover jibe makes him (in the same teasing spirit in which she'd said it) lift an eyebrow and the corner of his mouth. He waited as she took in the surroundings (overhearing how it echoed into her past and he gave the space to honor that). But when, with focus and guard thus softened, she leaned in to kiss him again, he sneakily snaked his arm back around her and pulled them both (painlessly) over. And gathered her against him to… demonstrate some devotion.
