As promised, Wanda shows up within 30 minutes to the provided address to the cafe. She scans the faces in the building, and when she spots the man she'd just spoken with on the network, she approaches. "Hi. Do you have any more questions or concerns or whatever?" She's not going to just immediately get into it, but mostly she knows it's typically easier for someone to gauge things like a person's demeanour and trustworthiness when you're face to face (in person). It's to let him do a little more vetting of her if he feels the need to; if he doesn't feel the need to, then, well, they can get to it.

The girl seemed young on the network, and she's even younger in person. Shepard blinks a little in surprise when she comes over with little hesitation, but he pauses, looking around them. The rest of the cafe occupants seem oblivious enough to the fact that someone's about to try mindreading in their midst, although since they're obviously imPorts they are getting a couple of not-so-subtle curious looks.

"Uh ... Am I going to feel it?" His experience with his mind being invaded has tended to be abrupt and unpleasant. "Is there something I need to do to help?"

She knows she looks a lot younger than she actually is; most people don't guess her age correctly (which, now with her recent trip back home and back here again, she returned here a year older than she was when she left and is now 27). It's always been the case, but at least it doesn't bother her -- if anything, she finds it amusing.

"In terms of pain, you mean? You shouldn't, no." There had been plenty of complaints (justified ones, honestly) from the Avengers about what she did to their minds over a year ago, but causing them headaches or other kind of felt pain like that was not one of the many complaints she'd heard. "The best thing you can do is just try to relax and keep as clear of a head as possible."

"Relaxing's not exactly something I'm known for," Shepard says, a bit dryly. Regardless, he straightens his posture and looks directly at her, blue eyes sharp and clear as his focus settles down. It looks somewhat less like he's relaxing and more like he might be preparing to punch someone, but despite appearances, his mind is loosely focused only on the smooth wooden surface of the cafe table, thoughts consciously taking as innocuous a direction as possible.

Although, after a moment, he clears his throat. "I've never had someone in my head before, so this feels weird to ask ... but be careful. Some of the stuff in there isn't mine."
