If the address had given him any trouble, Hermann mused, then the large stack of wooden oak beams would've been a dead giveaway. Not to mention the resident of the building itself, whose silhouette cut a very feline shape against the pile. Dark fur, and the first inhuman species of imPort he'd knowingly come across.
Newton would have a field day.
But that was no small part of the reason he'd left his drift partner out of this particular visit. The rest was simply that he would need to concentrate, and the man's presence would not be conducive to that this time. A good test of his abilities, yes. He was certainly looking forward to it.
Hermann approached Shadow with a nod. "I don't believe we've exchanged introductions. I'm Doctor Hermann Gottlieb, here to assist with your project?"
