Thanks to the work of Gogo, Glitch is finally doing something for his sixteenth birthday. The idea of pounding on people with paintballs is something Glitch couldn't pass up. They found an arena outside of De Chima.

While Glitch had control over the majority of the guest list, Gogo has invited some unknowns to the birthday teen. Suspicion is there, but, he's assuming nothing nefarious is about to happen.

So, grab your gear, bring your own, get a gun or or bow and get ready for Glitch's first ever birthday party.

Because he's a sad sack and you might as well pity him.

[It's been far too long since Gogo's been paintballing. She's not usually a gun person, so she figures she'll be a little rusty, but she has no trouble renting some tactical gear and weapons and dropping her things off in the lounge for later.

She gives Glitch a wave as she joins him.]

Don't suppose it's too late for Happy Birthday's?

[She's invited a few of her friends to round out the group and make it interesting, but she doesn't know who all is going to be here for the final count.]

[ Glitch on the other hand, needed some help choosing his stuff. Paint ball is new and foreign so he has no idea what's good and what's not.

In the end he's settled on the gun for the team round. Not that he's comfortable with it. Bad memories and all. But, he wants to win and trauma will not stand in the way of such things.

So, he's waiting at the spot with everyone when Gogo catches his attention. She gets something of a salute in return to her greeting. ]

Meh, not really. What's almost two months?

[ Still he looks appreciative. A somewhat stranger didn't have to go through all this trouble after all. ]

So, how many black eyes are we expecting?

[She taps the helmet under her arm.]

So long as everyone keeps their gear on and doesn't aim for the head? None. But I'd expect plenty of bruises. Getting hit at force with even a ball of paint can leave a mark. But again, the armor will prevent a lot.

[He helped with Hiro. If this is something she could do to help repay that favour, then she's more than happy to. It's kind of nice being invited to the party, besides. She's missed having a day to just screw around.]

Isn't that what the helmets are for?

[ As he raps his knuckles along the helmet. Not that he'd like a paint ball to the head but hey, safety's safety? ]

Meh, can't be any worse than taking down dragons or assholes armed with knives and real guns. Bruises are sounding more fun by the second.

[ He looks to Gogo with a smirk. ]

So, you gonna be okay when my team totally crushes yours?

[She raises an eyebrow, not sure if she wants to know what he's been up to. The dragon must have been during that Flare before she got here that Hiro'd mentioned, but the rest of it...

Well, he wouldn't be the first vigilante she knew.]

Just so long as you don't hate us when we hand you your team's ass during your party.

[ He's doing his job as a hero, Gogo. Be proud of it. At least he's technically legal. ]

Pah! Please, I got so many aces they're slipping through my hands, we're that good.

[ Is he referencing some meme video he saw on the web...maybe. ]

[She probably would be if she knew. ~~Like she could complain of illegality, here.~~

The meme catches her off guard, because guess who doesn't spend free time trolling the internet. She stares at him, and then snorts indelicately.]

This is going to be a complete disaster, isn't it?

[ He's gotta do something on his spare time.

He gives her an indifferent shrug to her question. ]

Yeah, probably. I'm expecting anarchy in the first five minutes.

We'll be lucky if it's that organized.

With these people? Doubtful. Well, okay, maybe with Tadash. He seems like the type to organize.

Tadashi's organized until he has a project. It's Wasabi you have to watch out for. I bet you anything when we get back to the lounge we'll find everything arranged in neat little lines at precise angles an exact distance from everything else.

You don't think he's gonna pass out when we go Lord of the Flies on him? ...If he does we have to write on his face.

You know, it's a distinct possibility? Just make sure it's symmetrical. If there's some kind of order to it he can't object louder than a dull roar.
