Hello, I'm sorry, I've lost myself
WHO: Mayday, Normie, Kanaya, Peter, perhaps others?
WHERE: Primarily Nonah #4
WHEN: Ageswap threads run from March 25 to March 29; and elsewhen
WHAT: Did you think the whole spider and goblin thing couldn't get weirder or possibly more convoluted? It turns out it can. And maybe catchall things set before all of this craziness.
WARNINGS: Possibly none, this can change.

Still, as much as she wants to freak out over this, she does have to prioritize- she was alright, and even if she was older, she was still able to take care of things- which meant focusing on Normie. Who didn't really seem to remember much.
"How are you holding up, Normie?"

Once he was convinced he searched every nook and cranny, he went over to where May was examining herself in the mirror and pulled on her pant leg.
"Hey, MJ...? Where's Mayday? We were playing and now she's gone. Do you think she was kidnapped?"
no subject
May couldn't help but wish that he'd stop calling her by her mom's name, though. "Normie, we've already gone over this, I'm Mayday. I wasn't kidnapped, promise."
no subject
"No, you're too big to be Mayday. Do you think Daddy took her? Daddy took me once, but it wasn't really him."
no subject
Could she maybe make him be aware? "Normie, how old are you? "
no subject
Why wasn't MJ taking this seriously? And why did she ask him how old he was. Duh, he was--
"Twe--" He stops. That can't be right. Twenty is way too big. Still, it could be right. "Twenty?"
no subject
"Your dad isn't here, he hasn't done anything." Norman the elder, on the other hand... the idea of him getting hold of Normie right now is a chilling thought.
no subject
Jeez, MJ, this is serious! May's missing! And May's very important to him.
"What accident? Did I do something bad?"
no subject
She hopes. May isn't exactly thrilled at the idea of missing the rest of her teenaged years and most of her twenties. Even if this isn't too bad, the idea of Normie being like this for the foreseeable future... no thanks.
no subject
A frown. No, he was wrong. Spider-Man wasn't bad.
"Can he help?"
no subject
"We'll see about that." She was pretty sure her dad definitely wouldn't be able to if this had happened back home, and she didn't think this was in this Peter's abilities either. Probably. Even though her dad did seem pretty comfortable with the equipment at Avengers Mansion and around the F5's.
"I think this is more a Fantastic Five sort of problem."
no subject
At her statement about the Fantastic Five, he frowns. "But they aren't here."
no subject
Unless it's a magic thing? There are enough different possibilities to make this a huge problem.
no subject
He made a face. Neither of those seemed like great options, but maybe he was biased. Normie looked around the room.
"When's Mayday coming back? Are you sure she's not kidnapped?"
no subject
She sighs and kneels down so she isn't looking down at him as much. "Normie, I'm Mayday, I promise. You used to share gummy bears with me when we were little and right now there's a glider in your room that you made while I spent a bunch of time talking to you. Remember? Just because I don't look the age I'm supposed to be doesn't mean I'm not me."

no subject
"Can we play something?"
no subject
"Sure. Like what?" She isn't sure if she should be making any suggestions here; what's appropriate for a four year old?
no subject
He frowned a bit as thoughts of smoke bombs came to mind. Why would he want to make something so silly? And why did he know how to make it? Ah well.
"Do you have any LEGOs, Auntie M?"
